Energy performance, audits, and refits

Our energy specialist prepares energy performance certificates and energy audits, carries out mandatory inspections of operating systems, and proposes a refit that does not start with demolishing the plant room.

What the Service Includes

Preparation of energy performance certificates in accordance with the Energy Act; registered in the ENEX database (Ministry of Industry and Trade)
Inspection of operating systems per Decree 38/2022 Coll. for heat sources above 70 kW
Energy audit per Act No. 406/2000 Coll. and Decree No. 480/2012 Coll., always at least two variants
Energy assessments
Diagnostics of heating systems, cooling systems, and HVAC
System balancing per Decree 193/2007 Coll. including flow rate setting protocol
Inspection of pressure vessels and gas appliances
Indoor air quality measurement — thermal comfort, CO₂, TVOC

Mandatory inspection notice

Per the update effective 1 January 2023, the owner is obligated to have an energy specialist carry out an inspection of operating systems once every 5 years. Failure to comply may result in a fine of up to CZK 200,000.

Refit instead of replacement

Our philosophy is sustainability. After the audit, we propose which parts of the system can be retained and which should be replaced with newer, more efficient units compliant with current standards. The result is lower investment and a smaller environmental impact.

How It Works

Data collection

We walk through the building, meter readings, documentation, and actual operation — not just design values.

Calculation and variants

We prepare an assessment of the current energy performance and propose at least two optimization variants.

Recommendation

We evaluate the variants economically and environmentally and recommend the most suitable one — with justification.

Implementation and verification

We can also implement the measures and, after an agreed period, verify that the savings have actually materialized.
