Emergency boiler replacement during heating season

Scope of Work
A customer called the 24/7 dispatch centre to report that her boiler had stopped heating. During the inspection, it became clear that repair was no longer viable — parts lead times exceeded the time it would take to replace the unit.
- Same-day site visit and fault diagnosis
- Design of the replacement heat source and on-site quotation
- Dismantling and removal of the old boiler
- Installation of a new condensing boiler including flue modification
- Commissioning, training, and entry into the inspection log
Outcome
Two days elapsed from the phone call to full heating, one of which was waiting for boiler delivery. The household was without heat for one night.
