Cooling and ventilation for a production hall in Milevsko
A press shop where temperatures near the machines exceeded 38 °C in summer. The solution had to handle both process heat and exhaust.
Scope of Work
The manufacturer needed to reduce temperatures at press workstations and remove process heat and vapours without blowing out the heated air from the entire hall.
- Thermal load calculation from process equipment and concept design
- Supply and installation of HVAC with heat recovery
- Local exhaust at press stations
- Adiabatic cooling of supply air
- Control based on temperature and shift occupancy
Outcome
Temperatures at workstations dropped by approximately 8 °C during summer peaks. Heat recovery returns heat in winter, so heating costs for the hall did not increase.
